PESHAWAR: Careem Pakistan has extended it’s network by introducing new emergency services in the city to minimize the response time to the emergency sides in the city.
Careem Pakistan will support the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in saving the precious human lives by improving the response time in case of emergency. The officials of Careem also believe that it will help to reduce the response time of emergency services significantly.
Despite two percent imposition of general sale tax (GST) by the provincial government on services of Careem Pakistan which makes their profit margin shrink, it has opted to extend its services to response in emergency situation.
Taking an international lead, Peshawar is ready to top the charts and become the 1st city in the world to offer radical emergency services. Now, ambulances & Rescue 1122 fire brigades will be readily available on the Careem app with Careem Pakistan. The company is also offering quality training to the Rescue staff in accordance with the new system. A one-of-a-kind business friendly initiative that has encouraged companies to expand creating mass jobs for the local youth.
The initiative is very important to cater to emergency needs of patients, especially in remote areas where healthcare services are not available.
Figures provided by the Emergency Rescue Service 1122 headquartered in Peshawar in November 2017, its personnel made available services in 92,000 medical emergencies, 34,000 traffic accidents, 5,000 incidents of fire, 498 bomb explosions, 4,000 crime situations, 500 building collapses and 3,600 cases of drowning. The figures of incidents have grown and requires more companies in emergency services and Careem Pakistan has bridge the gap to a great extend.
