Pakistan’s economy is consistently facing a meltdown as the dollar is hammering the Pakistani rupee. Today rupee closed at 234.32. The Pakistani rupee is consistently losing ground against the U.S dollar. Shahbaz Sharif’s government is completely clueless and unable to find a roadmap to stop the devaluation of the Pakistani rupee.
Floods have destroyed the infrastructure as well as the economy of the country. According to the latest estimates, the floods have caused damage of 40 billion dollars. The reports also suggest that flood losses may cross the 40-billion-dollar figure. Political uncertainty is also fueling the economic meltdown.
