PTI lawmakers and Spokesperson of Punjab Government Fayaz ul Hassan Chohan today has presented a verbal resolution in the Punjab assembly in favour of ARY News. According to an orally presented resolution, the house condemned the suspension of ARY News’s transmission and registration of cases against ARY’s management and Anchorpersons.
According to this verbally presented resolution, “The Interior Ministry has violated the rules and unlawfully canceled the NOC of ARY News. For the first time in the history of Pakistan, PEMRA and the Ministry of Interior have blocked the transmission of a news channel illegally.”
As per the resolution, the house urges to immediately restore the transmission of ARY News. This resolution will also be presented in writing as well.
