The battle for the chair of PA speaker is “ON” as PTI and PMLN candidates have submitted their nomination documents. The election of the PA Speaker will take place on tomorrow at 04:00 PM in Punjab Assembly.
PTI and PMLQ have nominated the former opposition leader Sibtain Khan as their joint candidate. Saif ul Malook Khokhar is the joint candidate of the PMLN-PPP alliance. Both sides are confident for the victory as this election will be conducted through a secret ballot.
Meanwhile, PTI’s parliamentary leader Raja Basharat has moved a no-confidence movement against deputy speaker Dost Mohammad Mazari as Wasiq Qayyum will be the joint candidate of PTI-PMLQ for this slot.
