Srilanka has defeated Pakistan with a big margin of 246 runs in the 2nd and last test of two test matches series. Srilanka completely dominated the second Galle test. In the first innings, Srilanka was bowled out for 378 runs but restricted Pakistan to 231 runs.
In the second innings, Srilanka set a big total of 502 runs for Pakistan. Pakistani batting line-up faltered and Srilankan spinner Prabath Jayasuriya destroyed the Pakistan batting line. Prabath claimed his fourth 5 wicket-haul and cleared the path for Srilank’s victory.
Pakistan batters struggled against the spin. Babar Azam scored his 81 runs and claimed 23rd test fifty. Imam Ul Haq scored 49 and Mohammad Rizwan scored 37.
After this defeat, Pakistan dropped down to number fifth position and Srilanka climbed to 3rd position.
