Newly elected Chief Minister Punjab Chaudry Parvaiz Elahi today visited the Bani gala to meet former PM Imran Khan. Chaudry Parvaiz Elahi thanked former PM and PTI chief for his support in the CM Punjab election. Key PTI and PMLQ leaders including Chaudry Monis Elahi and Dr. Shahbaz Gill were also present in the meeting.
According to sources, both leaders discussed the matters of mutual interests including the formation of new provincial cabinet and finalized the candidate for the Punjab Assembly speaker election. According to sources, Sibtain Khan will be joint candidate of PTI and PMLQ for the Punjab Assembly speaker election.
After this meeting, Imran Khan Khan chaired the meeting of senior PTI leaders and finalized the political strategy for upcoming political and legal challenges.
The former Prime Minister announced on Twitter that he will address the nation at 10:00 PM tonight.
