ISLAMABAD— The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday made the largest recovery by conducting an inquiry into fake accounts case where Manzoor Manzoor Qadir Kaka, Ex-DG Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) and seven others made a plea bargain of Rs10.6 billion.

Chairman NAB has approved plea bargain request of which will be submitted to Accountability Court for final approval.

The NAB carried out an Investigation against the holders of public office, legal persons and other involved in fake bank accounts scam regarding misappropriation of land owned by Government of Sindh and Pakistan Steel Mills by public functionaries of Board of Revenue (BOR) Sindh, Manzoor Qadir Kaka and Hammad Shahid, Abdul Ghani, Tariq Baig, Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Tauseef, Aamir and Siraj Shahid.
