ISLAMABAD– The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued directives for initiation of disciplinary action against Judge Arshad Malik for violating code of conduct.
Acting Registrar IHC, Syed Ahtesham Ali, has issued the notification to this effect on Thursday.
The IHC repatriated the former accountability court judge to his parent department the Lahore High Court for the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against him.
On July 12, the IHC had removed the Judge from his post amid a controversy surrounding a leak video showing his purported confession that the judge had been pressurised and blackmailed to convict former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the Al-Azizia reference.
