Sharif family’s accountability case hearing adjourned until Nov 7


Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with his daughter Maryam Nawaz  and Captain (R) Muhammad Safdar son-in-law arrived appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court in connection with the corruption references on Friday November 02, 2017 in Islamabad. Disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif submitted two surety bonds of Rs.5 million each for bail in Azizia Mills reference and Flagship Investment reference.The court meanwhile deferred the hearing for 15 minutes to wait for Islamabad High Court’s decision on Nawaz Sharif’s application through which he had sought merger of all references.Later, the IHC later issued its judgement, directing the Accountability Court to hear Nawaz Sharif petition on merger of cases. At which the Accountability Court judge adjourned the case till Nov. 7 to take up Nawaz Sharif’s plea, local media reported. Photo by Mian Khursheed
