The FIA committee has formally started the inquiry of the “Cipher Saga”. The inquiry team has been constituted. The request has also been made to include officers from ISI, MI and IB. Interestingly, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Interior Minister Rana Sana Ullah are making controversial statements regarding the existence of Cipher which is making their case more complex. Imran Khan, on the other hand, cashed these statements which are strengthening his narrative. Now questions arise that, will FIA also question the Army Chief, Chairman Joint Chief, NSA and Cabinet members of both NSC meetings regarding the meeting minutes? In the coming days, more interesting details will be shared.
