Pak Army’s media wing ISPR has confirmed that Four Pakistan Army soldiers got martyred in a suicide attack the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan. According to ISPR’s press release, “A suicide blast occurred on a military convoy in general area Mir Ali, North Waziristan District. Resultantly, 4 soldiers embraced shahadat. Shuhada include Lance Naik Shahzaib (age 22 years, resident of Mansehra), Lance Naik Sajjad (age 26 years, resident of District Ghizer), Sepoy Umair (age 25 years, resident of Kohat) & Sepoy Khurram (age 30 years, resident Narowal).”
The official press release further says that, “Intelligence agencies have commenced investigations to find out the details regarding the suicide bomber and his handlers / facilitators. Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers will not go unpunished.”
According to local police officials, the suicide bomber targeted the military convoy near the Patsi Adda area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan. Gul Bahadur’s Militant group shared the video of this suicide attack which also carries the identity of the suicide bomber.
According to another video available with Reporters Diary, the suicide bomber traveled to Pasti Adda area in Riksha.
