More details of properties linked to PM Shahbaz’s absconder son Sulman Shahbaz are unearthed. Documents submitted by deputy director FIA ACC Lahore Nadeem Akhtar revealed all the details of Sulman Shahbaz’s assets, properties and shares and multiple companies.
According to FIA documents, the accused owns more than 200 Kanal land located in Chiniot. As per documents available with Reporters Diary, accused Sulman Shahbaz also is a shareholder of 13 companies. The total number of shares owned by PM’s absconder son is around 190 million.
The documents further revealed that PM’s absconder son has 29 active accounts in different banks in Pakistan. Accused Sulman Shahbaz of more than 30 million rupees in these accounts.
All these details have been submitted in a special court by FIA Lahore in today’s hearing. The accused Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and his son Shahbaz Shahbaz did not appear in person and filed pleas for exemption. Hamza Shahbaz pleaded that due to backache, he is not able to appear in person. The FIA prosecutor did not oppose these pleas and subsequently, the court accepted these pleas.
FIA also submitted the death certificate of Malik Maqsood who was declared absconder by the court and died in UAE due to “heart-attack”.
