PCB will be getting a new chairman it seems. After having a few meetings with Prime Minister Imran Khan, Ehsan Mani today has said that he has informed Prime Minister Imran Khan that I cannot continue working as Chairman PCB.
Former Test Cricketer Rameez Raja who was being pitched as the favourite for the slot has been nominated by Prime Minister Imra Khan for PCB Board of Governor’s. Rameez Raja had a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan a few days back where the issues of PCB and Cricket were discussed.
The board of Governors will elect a new chairman PCB after a few days. Insiders say that Rameez Raja will be the strongest candidate for Chairman PCB.
Rameez Raja has played under Imran Khan and was also a team-member of the 92 team which won the only cricket world cup for Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had appointed Ehsan Mani as Chairman PCB three years back.
