ISLAMABAD: – National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday met Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and briefed him over a recent parliamentary delegation’s Afghanistan visit.
PM Nawaz said on the occasion that the exchange of delegations will help Pakistan and Afghanistan improve ties and achieve joint objectives of regional peace and stability.
Earlier in the day, the premier addressed a rally in Layyah.
The people will support PML-N in General Elections 2018, he claimed and said that if anyone did not agree, he should have visited Layyah’s rally today.
He announced health card programme for the people of Layyah that would purportedly would give them access to free-of-cost medical treatment. He also announced to release funds for supply of gas to Layyah areas including Chowk Azam.
